Our Story
Welcome to a resort with a storied past, where the echoes of history blend seamlessly with the contemporary luxury we offer today.
It began with a heartfelt visit to my father’s grave in our village. I was not only born there but also studied up to grade 3 in our ancestral Free Primary School, where my father once studied and later served as the head teacher. During my visit, I found children attending classes under a large mango tree due to overcrowded classrooms. While there were only 20–25 students per class in my time, now there are 90–100. Overcome with emotion and a sense of responsibility, I promised on the spot to build a proper school for these children. Today, the new campus stands proudly, offering quality education up to 12th grade — possibly one of the best facilities in rural Bangladesh.
A few years later, my cousins and I organized a family reunion in the village, but the ancestral home couldn't house everyone. That winter night, we stayed in unused rooms of the new school. It inspired me to build a dedicated family compound to host future gatherings comfortably — and thus Meghna Shorobor was born. Since then, it has become a space of joy and togetherness and even inspired our family to start ROSF, a charity to support the village's poor.
